REMOVED-I have a Practical Field model ready to fit up and am stuck on what to fit it up with, so I figured I'd shop it out and let a customer choose. The blade is .195" thick Crucible CPM3V from Aldo, heat treated by Peter's to 59-60 hrc. This is a stout but lightweight and relatively compact field/tactical design. Will come with a Kydex sheath and my QD carry clip, Tek lok and Molle Loks are also availible. Pictures show flat spine with jimping and custom OD green laminate (first), OD green with black liners (second), custom forest green laminate (third), and I added a pic of the actual blade listed here, with a set of the royal blue laminate scales pinned on temporarily, in case anyone wondered what it looked like (I did).

Base price is 215$ with standard grip color and smooth spine/no jimping. A 25$ deposit is required, the remaining balance is due when the knife is ready to ship (approx. a week).

Availible options are a thumb ramp with jimping (7.50$), flat spine with jimping (7.50$), and laminated G10 grip (15.00$)

Standard G10 colors on hand are Mcam, OD green, forest camo, black/blue, black/grey, black/green 2x2 ( I can order other colors as availible)

Custom G10 laminate is black/grey with one of the following colors for liners and overlay: forest green, OD green, coyote tan, royal blue or hunter orange.

Specs:

9”“ OAL
4.25” blade, .190” thick Crucible CPM3V, high flat grind
Will be assembled with West Systems G-Flex epoxy and flared stainless tubing
Standard finish is rubbed to 400 grit, bead blasted with fine media, and rubbed with compound to smooth and brighten the finish
.080” Black Kydex sheath
Quick-detach carry clip allows carry with or without a belt, IWB carry, boot carry, and other carry options-ideal for low-profile or concealed carry (as permitted by law)
Sheath is Molle-Lok and Tek-Lok compatible for military/ law enforcement duty carry

Discount for active duty U.S. military/LEO, please contact me for details

These are great knives guys, I have a couple of Justin's knives and am real happy. The workmanship on the knife AND the sheath are just excellent, and the clip is a really nice design.

Yes, sorry, heard people call it Taco. :)
No worries, just making sure I understand the question. To be honest, I haven't tried one. I don't think it would be a problem with a flat spine but the thumb ramp option I think may work better with the pancake style, I can see some possible interference with the thumb ramp and the folded style sheath.

How about an in-hand picture? I was going to pay the license/tags on my van, but they aren't due for 30 days....:p

Here's a quick one of my personal one, which was the prototype. The standard ones have a very slightly wider blade and have the thumb ramp added which can be ground off.

Would it be possible to see a picture of one being carried in your IWB sheath?

I also just sent you an e-mail.
