I did not as I am not aware that it infringes on any design patents in force. Having a couple of patents myself I take this subject really seriously. I depend on any knife maker I buy from to know where there could be any intellectual property issues before building something.

I think if you want to ask or discuss anything else it will be more productive do it via email or pm. I would be interested in finding out exactly what caused you to bring this up. Thanks.

because makers have a code, we respect other makers designs. There might not be a patent on it, but everyone knows that design. Most makers honestly don't want to spend thousands of dollars on patents, but at the same time when a maker makes something that is their signature knife and it gets copied others in the knife community can get a bit upset.
