May I ask how durable is the bond between the wood and the tang? (Not sure if I should call it a tang or there is a more appropriate term?)
Hi Shinyedges,
The bond is strong. The handle is cut so it is just a bit oversized and the inside of the keyhole is coated with epoxy and then the handle block is force fitted into place. It will hold up to any normal knife use.
