I'm making my first handle out of G-10, and I Krazy glued one half on so that I could shape it because I didn't have two sided tape and Krazy Glue was all I could find. It stuck really well, and I've shaped it so it looks really nice and fits my hand well, but now I want to take it off in order to match up the end of the other half....Anyone know any tricks?

put it in the freezer for an hour or so and it should release. a light sheer blow with a soft mallet might work as well, or a combination of both.

If you can get a razor blade in between the slabs, a little batoning action works well. Acetone will dissolve the excess glue.

Next time just use two tiny drops of glue. It works well as a temporary adhesive.

Thanks guys, I put it in the freezer overnight, then hit it against the refrigerator lightly a couple times, and it fell right off.
