Anyone have any tips or tricks or point me in the right direction on how to
take a buck 110 apart, especially the bolster pivot pin removal ?
Thanks KC
As I recall they only go in and out one way. In other words you can hammer on it all day long if you try to punch it out the wrong way and it won't budge. It has been years since I worked on the one I've taken the blade out of. I think you have to hit the smaller head with the punch.
I have replaced one blade on a Buck 110 for my brother but it was an LLBean stainless model as I recall. The brass may be problematic if you are not careful. Brass is so soft that it could even bend on you if you get too heavy handed with the hammer.
