Removing scales on a WH - T12?

I want to install a pocket clip onto a William Henry T12.
Can the screws holding the scales be removed without damage?
Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Surely some of you crafty gentlemen would know if it is possible to remove screws that are not supposed to be removed.

I would have to say yes, just be sure to use the proper sized torx, looks like a T-5 or T-6.

Use a soldering iron on the screw head to release any thread compound and take your time.

I'd like to hear how it turns out!
