removing serrations

Hey guys i'm pretty new to the forums but here's something i just accomplished i had this knife that was pretty cheap and it was okay but it had serrations and i happened to have one of the same knife that was pretty beat up so i thought i would try to remove them and hey what do you know it worked! all i did was used and old file that was laying around and then sharpened it with a wet stone and got it sharper than what it already was so anyway ill have some pictures of it up soon.
