Also, FWIW, I just did a deal with a great guy who's a member here. I didn't send the knife until I received the MO. Not because I don't trust him, but because it's just standard practice. It's business. You pay, and then you get the product. Ren is right to hold the knife until payment is in hand and has been cashed. Yeti needs to show that he did indeed send a MO.
 
I'm not taking sides here, but from reading the commentaries it's seems as though there was a large misunderstanding regarding your first reply to Ren...

the way I'm reading it is that you were saying it would be less rude for him to ask when you sent the MO than just telling you that it was never received and the item will be relisted... I believe this is where the misunderstanding occured....

It seems to me reading Ren's next reply that he took it as a sarcastic remark questioning him as to if he had sent the knife to you yet... this is the MISUNDERSTANDING!

Of course Ren gets pissed because he thinks you just told him to send the knife without receiving payment... which nobody in their right mind would do and thinks that you are trying to rip him off...

Of course that's not what you were saying at all! You just believed that he should have been more polite in his wording when asking you where the payment was!

I believe this situation could still be rectified after the misunderstanding is cleared up..

Bottom Line: Yeti was not trying to ask Ren if he already sent the knife without receiving payment and since Ren believed he was asking just that this is where the misunderstanding occurred. Hopefully this situation can be rectified easily!

Supposing I read the attributions correctly, it looks like you (Mark) opened the door on potty mouth. If that's not the case perhaps you should edit the post for clarity.
 
You made a promise to send a MO on the 27th. You should have a stub dated then or the 26th. Posting it will let us all know that you aren't a liar and you don't break promises. It's worth it to you if you really want to have a nice rep here.

I understand that poo happens with the snail mail, but I just received a knife from New Zealand in the amount of time Ren's had to get your MO.

Have you never read any of his other post? Saying Ren is vulger is like saying Waters wet most people already know. You thought that was rude? You should see how he talks to his FRIENDS in the "place that shall not be named".Did you send the MO I don't know should Ren have been a little patient probably.But you also got you panties in a bunch when you could have just said "it's on the way be a little more patient if it hasn't got there by Friday let me know and I go to the post office and cancel it and send another one."
 
This is a large amount of foofaraw over not very much. If both parties could slow down a bit that might become clear to everybody. This could be a good time to take a walk ... or if you're at work maybe you could get some work done....

No it wouldn’t, but at least it would show that one was purchased. As a good faith effort for your argument I would think that you would want to at least show that :confused:

Here is my offer to close this matter for good.

1) We both ask the mods to delete both threads, or we both agree to delete our threads.

2) You keep the knife and sell it to whoever. The total proceeds of the sale are donated, by you, to the NAACP or Anti Defamation Leauge.

3) We both agree to shake hands and walk away, no more comments or posts.

I am greatful of your offer of the knife, but I have a code I have to stick to, and I just can't have something like that knife around me, knowing the bad feelings it inspired. Call it what you may, it's just the way I have to live my life.

RTDTB, As my pirates role model it is good to see you own up a little, we all have our bad moments when headstrong gets the best of us, it is nice to see a thread that ends in mutual satisfaction! I was waiting for the blade kicked in the nuts and set on fire thread! Good on you!!!
