I received this last week and finally got around to trying it. It smells like shoe polish and is thick and pasty kind of like shoe polish. I first tried it on a couple of wood inlay pen knives and it seemed to work well on those inlays and blades. Next I tried it on my African Blackwood Mnandi. I really like how it seemed to bring out the grains.

Next I tried it on my Macassar Ebony Mnandi doing only half of one of the inlays. It seemed to darken the wood on this lighter wood. The left side in this photo is waxed and the right side is not. (It was hard to show in this light with a crappy smartphone camera...)

Summary: Overall I liked what it did on initial application on the pen knives and the African Blackwood Mnandi. I am going to have to think about applying it on my large and small 21 Macassar Ebonies. Also, it did a nice job on the polished titanium portion; I tried to keep it off of the blasted portion. It also did a nice job on the blade. I have not carried any of these yet so do not know how long it lasts - maybe as long as shoe polish?
