renewal of membership

I don't use the features offered on the gold membership so for renewal I went to basic. Due to renewing 1 month early, there is now a concurrent subscription with basic expiring 12.02.2010 instead of 01.01.2011. I recieved a snotty response from someone with little understanding that websites such a bladeforums are here not because we must have them, rather it is a cool way to share info. in our spare time.
