I took part in the " Bowies on the Beach" seminar last weekend with Michael Janich. I had an old Endura trainer but needed another trainer for my son. I bought the Endura 4 trainer before class. I was immediately impressed. The changes of the handle shape, surface design, clip, and grooved thumb rest area on the blade and handle are great! Pivot pin and handle screws are all ajustable. Four clip position options too.
After working with the trainer over the weekend I found myself unable to resist ordering a new Endura 4 PE. IMHO you can't find a better knife for price, weight, and handling. Great job Spyderco on your progressive attitude on upgrading your standards with this old favorite of mine.

The Endura is my favorite Spydie!!! Though it took about two years of buying and using more than 15 other Spyderco models, those are all gone now, while the Endura remains:D
Cheers!

Yep, I've come full circle via a FRN E3, S30V Millie, SS E2 and ending up with an SS E4. I haven't found anything that suits better as EDC to replace it.

Yeah, Endura just... endures :D.
Though I loathe it a bit, because I was bitten by Spyderco's habit-forming bug, and it is all my Endura's fault.

But there is joy, comfort, hopefulful expectations in habit, isn't it? I find few things in this life as consistant in providing interest, fun, practical , tactical, etc. as a good knife. :D

* another fact of the Endura is that it has an exact trainer for practice. No T.V. bleeding times. :D
