I got a kershaw storm with some very small scratch and discoloration spots, I think it's a bead blasted/washed finish. How do I go about to remove the scratch and spots while maintain the original finish?
I am no expert but short of having it bead blasted again you don't.You can do a hand rubbed finish with sand paper but other than that you best option is to live with it I mean if you are gonna use it it is gonna happen again anyway..Just look at it as character marks or battle scars.
I have a Sebenza with a stone washed finish that had some spots on the blade. I tried everything I could think of to take them out and ended up sending it back to CRK for a refurb. It came back looking brand new.
I managed to remove the discoloration spots with toothpaste, but scratch remains. Guess I'll leave it alone since there's no way to fix it, and make it into mirror polished when there are too many scratches.
