• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

A few months ago, I got a Bruks mini-hatchet and fell in love-it and an Old Henry pocketknife cover over 90% of my outdoor needs, BUT I loaned it to my friend and, lo and behold, it came back with a chipped edge. He apparently was splitting wood ON BRICKS-not happy right now! Anyway, I can sharpen most blades ok, but this is beyond my means and I want the edge restored. Does Bruks have a rep over here who does that stuff (for renumeration, of course)?

I would give your "friend" a nice file and have him get to work...or else. I wouldn't waste your money on sending it places; its good steel, made to work and should sharpen easy enough. OR See if there is a local follow with a good wet wheel around

if you would like to trade it , i have been looking for a Mini.
send me an email.
thanks for your reply

One of our BF members, Siguy, specializes in convex edges like the GB has. His work is reasonable and highly regarded. He usually posts in W&SS forum.
