Yeah, pretty much. Like I said, it was either the spectacular Swisstool or the miserable Master padlock. And it wasn't easy work too- took me quite a while to get through the steel as the file's teeth clogged up easily.
That's about the only extreme circumstance I've put a Victorinox file through. Other tasks are quite mundane, like removing burrs from holes cut into hobby aluminum chassis for electronics projects, sawing small to medium aluminum bolts, stuff like that.
