Replace handle on CAK?

So I was given an amazing Cak for my birthday, after a weekend of chopping and what not I truly love this blade, however the handle I am not a fan of.

Has anyone modded the handle, or just taken the thing off completely and say put some G10 or micarta?

Many people have moded their handles to fit them better or smooth out rough or pointy edges. And some have rehandled their khuks too. Use the forum search (top right, under your name

IF you arent set up to rehandle the CAK, you can sand down the ring, if its going to be a user, this isnt that big of a deal. I have done just that on a user CAK that I have.
