replace phenolic handles on 100-series fixed blades?

Afer a few searches didn't turn up anything, I thought I'd ask here.

1) is it possible to replace the black phenolic with something else?
2) where could I get this done
and 3) can I do this without voiding the warranty?

I'd appreciate any help I could get.

greetings, you may want to contact Joe Houser at Buck about the warranty part. there is a thread called 1962 General that may also be of interest. named is Leroy Remey, a former Buck employee who works on Buck knives. May be worth looking in to.
