I am seeing a few knives for sale with replaced or upgraded thumb studs. How is this even done, as I understood that the studs were pressed in during the mfg process? Also, does doing so void the warranty?

I had mine replaced by REK I'm not to concerned about the warranty on the blade because the new thumbstud makes the knife just about perfect
Hi Chris
Hi Chris
Who is REK and how do I contact them. I need a thumb stud exactly like the one on your Seb. I have a Raindrop Damascus blade on a Lg Seb.
Contacted CR and the process is labor intensive $ with a considerable
wait. Any suggestion would be helpful. Thank you.
Love the looks of this acid Insingo.
