Ok guys, long story short, I was stupid and broke the tip off my delica 4. I am wondering if the blade can be replaced by sypderco. If so any idea on cost? Would I be better off just buying a new knife? Thanks guys for all your help.

Generally speaking, Spyderco cannot or will not replace blades. If it is not broken too far back, they may be able to regrind the tip, but I believe that costs about half as much as a new Delica anyway. I'd say retire it and buy a new one.

Thank you so much sir for the information. Thats exactly what I needed to know. Now the only question is do I want another delica or a native? Decisions decisions.

I'm pretty sure you'd better get one of each, just to be safe.

I'm one of the few that prefer the Delica 4 to the Native, but I prefer my Endura 4 to my Delica.

As Din says, you are going to end up with both anyway, but you owe it to yourself to handle a Native. IMO it is an Icon knife, along the lines of a Buck 110. Well built, well designed and a great value.

I wish I could get a new blade. I ruined the tip of mine with poor sharpening skills. I guess the way I was sharpening, the tip just kept going higher and higher until it pretty much rounded out.
