I've purchased four Boker Stockmen, including the Grand Canyon bone, and I fully agree that when they are done well they are an extremely nice knife and a great value.
I just wanted to share my personal experience which is, out of the four I've purchased over the web, two were a little dissappointing. The problem in both cases was weak action. None had a problem with blade play at all, it was simply a matter of what felt like weak springs.
Incidentally this for me confirmed something I had heard on another forum about inconsistent quality with newer Bokers. If I were ever to buy another, I'd want to handle it first.
The Grand Canyon Bone stockman I received was one of the good ones. It's a very nice knife.
