Does anyone on the forum sell replacement hafts? If not where is the best place to get them? I prefer ash, but hickory will work? Thanks in advance.

I make my own.

If you have to buy one, Cold Steel sells them like crazy but I'm sure there are other people who do. Just not sure if they will fit your hawk correctly. What hawk do you have?

Crazy Crow has Ash and Hickory, about 4 bucks apiece, but shipping is 8$ under 150$ order

I make mine from the firewood pile. When splitting firewood if I run across straight grain I throw it in the barn to season, then when you need one just split it and spokeshave to size. On the 'hawks I throw, anything works, dead limbs in the yard get whittled to fit 'cause I know they aren't going to last long.(maybe if I threw better?) My Lovely Bride is a Artist/Photographer, she took this pic of me shaving hafts...... A antique spokeshaver using a antique spokeshave.........Randy
