Replacement Hickory Handles?

If I want to play around with customizing some, where is the best place to get them? Steve, can I get them through you or should I go to one of the online "trading post" type stores, like Crazy Crow?

Go to a second-hand store, the salvation army, yard sales or wherever, and buy a baseball bat. You'll get the chance to cut a great handle with a truly straight and proper grain alignment cheaply.

Funny you mention them, that's where I just got my French Poled hawk from (won it off ebay for the minimum). Part of the reason I need handles is because I believe the one they sent with the hawk was for a mouse hawk. It's just way too small for the head and I've already worked it all the way up the handle so it doesn't stay on anymore. Hmmm, maybe I'll have to order a mouse hawk head when I order the extra handles too...

I carve my own out of sledgehammer handles.
