Replacing my mini mag, What to get.

As other people have said, I suggest purchasing an LED conversion kit such as the Opalec NewBeam. The Opalec NewBeam produces a whiter light than the standard MiniMag and has double the battery life of a MiniMag.

Has anyone mentioned the CMG reactor yet? its much brighter than a mini mag, and being LED lasts a lot longer. You can also use lithium AA batteries with it which makes it even brighter and longer lasting.

The LED conversion kits are very interesting to me. I was not familiar with these. I recently got a AA MiniMag as part of a gift set for doing some extra stuff at work. I already have several good LED lights, but the conversion kits look like a fun project to bump up the usefulness of the MiniMag a little.
