I was looking around here and came across a thread concerning optional handles for the MT LCC, and someone mentioned me doing two of them. Well i am finishing up one in Ivory. I will post some pics of this knife finished in a day or so, Then i will have it anodised a bluish-purple (liners-bolsters) I must say that this is probably he best production liner-lock i have seen in some time, and the carbon fiber scales are a welcome site over the less then attrctive rubber insert models MT and other Co's design into their knives. Even the Carbon Fiber scales put the ugly G-10 that is so common on many knives to shame! Some people suggested stag!! Not recommended because of the thinness reqiured near the bolsters, especially near the liners where the scales are just slightly over 1/16" thick, and less then 1/8 at the center of the bolsters, the bark alone on a lot of stag is deeper then that! I do recommened pickbone, pearl, any of the ivorys, stone, basicly flat surface materials, with exception to pickbone! This knife has thick liners that will take a nice pattern from fileworking. Bottom line is it lends itself well to custom work! I will also post some pics of the Ivory-fileworked LCC after it is anodised a bluish-purple liners, and bolsters. Frank

So Frank, does this mean that you will be accepting orders to provide handle scales?
If so, will you have the pattern from the two knives you are currently working on, or will you need the actual knife.

Can't wait to see it. One problem I think . . . all the liners on the MT LCCs are Stainless Steel.

Since you can't anodize the stainless liners I bet you could mirror polish those bad boys and have one awesome looking blade! Looking forward to seeing pics. when finished.
