Beautiful Knife

Can I ask what the tang looks like ? Rat tail ? , through tang with rat tail ? Stock thickness?

looks like a great potential user.

The blade is 3/16 thick, the tang at the guard is 3/4" wide and tapers down to 5/8" at the pommel the pommel has a slot in it to lock the orientation to the tang and secured by the pommel nut with 10-24 thread on the end of the tang, the tang and thread was coated in epoxy so its a permanent assembly.

dang, that is one solid way to assemble a hidden tang knife.

may I simply say, the man knows what he's doing

This ^^ might be an understatement.

Received the blade today ! Having a hard time putting it down. Fit and finish is incredible, seamless, NO machine marks, solid as a rock. The edge is beyond capable of cutting, slicing and probably whatever else it may need to do. Balance is PERFECT- exactly what you’d want in a belt / field knife ( one you can actually carry and put to use). I think the icing on the cake is the crowned spine at the tip of the perfectly ground swedge / clip- incredible.

I haven’t grinned like this since I was a kid shooting my first BB gun:D.

Happy as Can be I had the chance to pick up a hand made blade of this quality! Won’t be my last cardman knife.

I almost forgot.. the sheath - PERFECT!

a lot of time went into this one. Seriously appreciate the labor of love here.

Thank you !
