This one is my first frame handle knife. It was fun to build and I think it turned out very nice.

Coffin Handle Bowie
8” blade with 7-1/4” cutting edge
12-1/2” Overall Length
1-1/2” Blade height and 1/4” thick at the ricasso
Heat Treated to RC58-59
800 grit hand rubbed blade finish
Cocobola handle with black paper micarta frame and file worked 410 stainless liners
416 Stainless spacers and pins
Sheath is handed made of 8-9oz black drum dyed tooling leather

This blade was clayed and quench, there is a light hamon which I can not get to photo well.

Fighting Bowie
8-3/4” blade with 8” cutting edge
14” Overall Length
1-1/2” Blade height and 1/4” thick at the ricasso
1084 FG Clayed and Heat Treated to RC58-59 with a Hamon
1000 grit hand rubbed blade finish
Crotch walnut handle
416 Stainless S-Guard and pins
Sheath is handed made of 8-9oz black drum dyed tooling leather

Beautiful bowies. Can you make one with an 11" blade? Down the road when it fits my budget I would definitely buy one. Awesome blades...
