Hey all,I have a 2009 Cripple Creek 2 bladed Jack up for another try.(made by GEC on the #54 pattern)
I'm still refining my preferences being fairly new to the slip joint addiction so this beauty is going back in the pool.
This thing is so beautiful,with the stag covers & buffalo shield,but it's a bit too big for me & my crowed pocket at 4 1/16" closed.
Very strong springs.I wouldn't call it a nail breaker,(mine haven't)but it do take some pull to get both blades open.
Solid,no blade play,half stops & both blades are centered.
Stainless blades,either 440C or 420HC.I can't find a definite answer on the type of steel using googlefu,some say 420 & some say 440,either way..good steel by GEC.:thumbup:
Unused,unsharpened,uncarried with tube.
