Stock removal from 52100 high carbon steel
Heat treated to RC 58-60 with three normalizing and two tempering cycles to assure a fine grain structure throughout the blade
Flat grind
Professionally stabilized ambrosia maple handle with black Micarta spacers. The fun of using natural materials is that there are sometimes surprises when they are finished. Sometimes good, sometimes I need to chisel the handle off and start over. This one was great with ambrosia stains and some unique figure. there are some small worm holes that have been filled
Overall length:
8 1/2 inches
Blade: 4 1/4 inches
Leather scabbard with a belt loop. This one can be worn left or right.
SOLD delivered within the US and includes shipping and PayPal fees. My Email and PayPal address is gldrewknives@gmail.com
