I have always prided myself in making a quality knife at a price to fit the average person's budget. As materials and tooling prices continually increased I have strived to become more efficient with my time and have not raised my prices for years...However, inflation has raised havoc with this philosophy; I just have to start asking more for my work. Sorry.

Forged from 52100 steel
Heat treated to Rc 58-60 using three normalizing and two tempering cycles creating a fine grain throughout the blade
Flat grind with a mat finish and a deep forged texture on the flats
Stabilized maple handle (some curl, some spalt)
Overall length: 10 3/4 inches
Blade: 6 1/4 inches
Leather scabbard with a belt loop

sold includes Priority Mail delivery to the US. My email and PayPal account is gldrewknives@gmail.com Please feel free to contact me with other payment methods or overseas shipping costs.

Gerry your work would be good value at twice the price. This one is an absolute steal for a blade this size in an excellent steel, made by someone who really understands the materials and purpose.

I bought one from you last year for $225, same pattern, but G10 scales. It is THE BEST hunting knife I have ever used. I harvest three or more deer each season, and a blade that is balanced, cuts well, and retains a sharp edge is a must! The knife also has a "quick draw" scabbard design that allows the user to have the knife in hand in a split second. $180 is a giveaway price.

If anyone is on the fence about this knife, I own two of Gerry's knives and they are very comfortable in the hand and built like a tank. I beat the hell out one of those knives out in the Michigan woods over the last year and I can report that his 52100 is great stuff.

I've often felt your work was underpriced. No need to apologize for quality work at extremely reasonable prices!

Got a knife from Garry last year, a file knife and it served me well as my primary knife in the ME. It has out performed all the high speed "tactical edc" costing more than a handgun. Frank
