Great little turkey/ small game knife!


OAL- 7 1/2"
blade- 3 1/4" long, .125" thick, 11/16" wide at the guard
steel- Aldo's high carbon 1095, with in-house differential heat treatment
grind- a full convex grind, with distal taper
finish-dark etched 600 grit finish
handle-tung oil inished wenge with blue spacer
guard- 1/4" brass and 1/8" brass pin
sheath- 8 oz leather, hand stitched, hand tooled, hot-waxed, with cam, for "snap fit", 3 copper rivets for belt loop
blade fully tested for edge retention and tip strenth before finishing

I'm getting kind of repetitive by now, but here goes: I now have 5 of Joe's Fixed Blades. They are all super sharp and the 2 i have been using still are. I have never had any other FB that i enjoy holding and using as much as those made by this knifemaker, Joe Calton.
If you want a FB to use and you like them on the smaller side (rather than a Big Honker), buy this one. It's a steal of a deal and you too will become a covert.

I second that Roland about this knife , this smaller size is really just right an they are built sooooo good. I have 3 of Joe's knives my self.
