Up for sale is a sweet little fighter that I finished up when I couldn't sleep last night. This knife is very similar to the Bog Oak Fighter that I posted a few months back, but this one has a bit of antiquing done to the blade and mild steel fittings... as well as being outfitted with a really nice piece of Redwood Burl. The blade on this knife is flat-ground very thin, and it feels quite quick.

The price for this one is REPOSTED ELSEWHERE shipped within the US. Please contact me concerning shipping outside the US. Buyer is responsible for determining the legality of this knife within their state or country of residence. I prefer payment via Paypal. If interested -- or if you just have some questions or comments -- feel free to shoot me a PM or email. My goal is 100% satisfaction; so if for any reason the buyer is not happy with this knife, please ship it back undamaged within 30-days and I'll send a full refund.

Some Stats:
Length: 10-5/8"
Blade : 5-3/8" (Tip to choil)
Steel: 1095 (from Kelly Cupples)
Handle: Stabilized Redwood Burl (Burl Source) w/ domed mild steel pin
Fittings: mild steel with black G10 spacer

This last photo shows a bit more of the wood's personality... but I think the color is skewed a bit warm.

Erin,

That is so elegant and nicely done. The whole knife and sheath package looks it could have been a gentleman's fighter/ utility knife in a bygone era.

I was wondering who snatched that redwood burl....from Burl Source. Anyhow this knife is gorgeous, and the antiquing really complements the burl. Good job!

Thanks guys.

This particular block isn't terribly recent. It was purchased from Mark a while ago and has been sitting in my stash. I did, however, get an amazing {BIG} block of redwood burl from him last week. Very cool.

Thanks again.

I have been showing my Bog Oak version of this knife to lots of makers and collectors at the OKCA show.
Everyone has agreed that it is a beautiful, well made knife. And a bargain at this price.
Someone is going to be pleasantly surprised. Congratulations to whoever gets this knife.
