Up for sale is a sweet little knife fitted with a piece of 5460 year old Bog Oak for the handle. I've been calling it a "Bog Oak Hunter", but several folks have voiced the opinion that it might be more appropriately classified as a fighter than a hunter due to the rear guard. If you buy it, you can call it whatever you want: hunter, fighter, demon slayer or Timothy. :p:D

The price for this one is REPOSTED ELSEWHERE shipped within the US. Please contact me concerning shipping outside the US. Buyer is responsible for determining the legality of this knife within their state or country of residence. I prefer payment via Paypal. If interested -- or if you just have some questions or comments -- feel free to shoot me a PM or email. My goal is 100% satisfaction; so if for any reason the buyer is not happy with this knife, please ship it back undamaged within 30-days and I'll send a full refund.

Some Stats:
Length: 10-5/8"
Blade : 5-3/8" (Tip to choil)
Steel: 1095 (from Kelly Cupples)
Handle: 5460 year old bog oak (Burl Source)
Fittings: 416ss with black G10 spacer

Thanks for the comments guys. I haven't done any handles with African Blackwood yet (though I do have several blocks in my stash)... but the bog oak definitely appears to have a coarser grain. While the Blackwood appears like it would take a nice shiny finish, in my experience this oak is at its best with slightly matte look.
