THIS KNIFE HAS BEEN RE-POSTED WITH A PRICE ADJUSTMENT.

Hey Guys... This is a repost of a knife from several weeks ago. It seems that I may have been overly ambitious with my original pricing... due to the amount of work involved in building this file-worked (and tapered) frame-handle. ;) I have adjusted the price, and hope that somebody thinks this is a good deal. As mentioned below, my goal is happy customers. If the buyer is not satisfied with this knife for any reason, I will give a full refund if the knife is shipped back to me undamaged within 30-days. Thanks for faking a look.

Some Stats:
Length: 14-1/8"
Blade: 8-3/8" (Tip to Choil)
Steel: Differentially heat-treated 1095 (from Kelly Cupples) Flat-Ground
Handle: This was an unlabeled set of scales from my stash (only marked "stabilized") - I believe it is Madrone burl, but don't quote me. ;) Frame is 1095.
Guard/Ferrule: 416ss w/ 1095 spacer

The price for this one is REPOSTED shipped within the US. Please contact me concerning shipping outside the US. Buyer is responsible for determining the legality of this knife within their state or country of residence. I prefer payment via Paypal. If interested -- or if you just have some questions or comments -- feel free to shoot me a PM or email. My goal is 100% satisfaction; so if for any reason the buyer is not happy with this knife, please ship it back undamaged within 30-days and I'll send a full refund.

Note: The handle color appears quite red in the last two photos... while there is a red tint to the scales, the coloring is actually more of a brown like in the first two shots.

Nice work with the tapered frame. File work does take an obscene amount of time. Especially to go back and sand it to 4 or 600 after filing... good job Erin.

Yeah Jack... my feelings are getting a bit bruised on this one. ;) :p

I like everything about this knife, I like the wood, I like the file work, I like the lines, I even like the sheath.....I just have no need for a fighter.

Thanks for the feedback Allen... and you make a good point. The fighter market seems to be a bit rough... especially a non-standard fighter design that isn't easily marketable under an established type or name (i.e. doesn't easily fit into an knife class like Bowie, Tanto, Dagger, etc.).
Thanks again.

Thanks Allen. I have at least one of those in the queue for this year... fingers crossed. ;)

Has a very nice "Early American" look to it, I think. Very nice execution.

Thanks Roswald. I hadn't really associated the look with "Early American", but can see it now that you mention it.

Suprised this hasn't sold yet Erin.
I don't now about a fighter, but it would make one killer chef knife!!

Haha... yeah, I've considered re-branding it... but with a spine near 3/16" at the ferule, it might be a bit thick for your standard chef knife. ;)
Thanks for the reply.
