I hope Andy doesn't mind me posting this here.

I acquired two repro Vietnam tomahawks. I remember that CS marketed these a while ago. I believe that they were made in Taiwan.

These have forged heads and OD painted handles and heads. There are no markings of anykind. The head seems to be epoxied to the handle. I took some pics, but left the disk at work.

Doea anyone remember what CS got for them?

I bought a new one recently from a dealer for $35. Not teally worth much more IMHO

Yeah....agreed.

All of the Vietnam Tomahawks of which we are aware that are unauthorized, are almost all made in Taiwan. They have poor edge geometry and do not properly execute the design features either.

ATC's Original Vietnam Tomahawk meets the precise design and manufacturing requirements of Peter LaGana himself, and let me say that he is a precise man.....he is demanding in terms of good tolerences, practical ideas, and tactical viewpoints....

Thanks for the info.

What edge geometry? What edge for that matter?

There is no edge. I guess it could be reprofiled, but it may not be worth the trouble. For what I paid for them they still make good wall hangers.

Hey Andy:

How about taking one of these in trade on a good 'hawk? You could use it as an example. A BAD example.
