Reprofiling my Sebenza

you wont really develope much of a burr when you use a sharpmaker..pushing the blade edge downward into the stones.
i use extra course diamond hone plates to rebevel the edges, then go to medium and superfine diamond hone, then to the sharpmaker ceramic stones.
i push the edge of the blade into all of these stones so there arent any 'wire' or burrs developed as such but i can feel the edge get finer and under a microscope.. i can see the thickness of the edge get really fine.
ill then strop the blade on a chrome treated leather strop by draggin the blade edge across it.
this gets the blades hair popping sharp but i dont do this to all knives. only something i want super sharp.
kitchen knives wont get the strop.. just a few pushes into a medium then superfine diamond hone and their hookin through tomatos like a laser.

The thing is, I usually develope a burr on ALL my knives when using my Sharpmaker. I use them as a guide to show me when to move on.
