caffeine makes me buggie eyed, and weirder than usual

You see, in antique Athens people could get ostracized, that is, sent away from the city.
In the public places there were amphores where one could put a shard of ceramic with the name of the person he didn't like in (ostraka, from which the term)
If at the end of the year there were a given amount of ostraka in the amphor, the guy got expelled from the city.
That was democracy.
Today is again possible thanks to informatic.
The fact that there are a LOT of people reading you balances out and makes so tha no single disgruntled individual can ruin you.
You have to disgruntle a lot of people.
So, it's a system that just makes people think more about how much polite they are if their own education is not enough for that ;)
In my opinion it can't be but good, if properly managed.
 
That feature can be turned off, for those that don't want it.
It's in "User CP, edit options".

I think there is a great risk of abuse with this feature. All it would take are a couple of pukes and....... :eek: :rolleyes:

I agree!!
I go on at least three other boards that have upgraded to VBulletin 3.0.0, and none of them even enabled this feature. :eek:

I really think the camera man gets more of a workout :D than those turkeys :D
 
One "open" forum that has vb3.0 is The British Blades forum - you should be a ble to view any differences there.

One of them has the option of having the username/avatar on the left, like it was here, or the way it is now. Just check/uncheck the box. It is neat. :eek: :D
