Not all the time. Details are often taken for granted -- which can be fine as long as complications don't develop. When they do, however, buyers & sellers expectations of each other are not always the same. I'm not trying to complicate individuals' transactions, but rather simplify them by codifying what most well-intentioned people take for granted.

In light of the fact that the For Sale forums are back up and running, I'd like to bring this BTTT for more discussion. It's definitely a topic worth discussing. Several recent threads in the GB&U forum highlight the need for a basic set of guidelines to follow when buying, selling, and trading on the forums.

Very good ideas all around and the Guidelines seem to be honed quite well....... As far as getting everyone to read it, what about doing something like W&C? Make the FS/FT Private and when people call in for password send them a Disclaimer with the Guidelines attached instructing them not to proceed if they do not agree. Probably would be nil effect legally but at least it would keep the 'arguments' from flying so far left and right and may make for simpler resolution of conflict. I just quickly scanned these posts so if I double posted what someone else did, forgive my mistake. Great job guys!
