nope, i'm not in the industry. the research is for my MA in Globalization of Business final report and presentation. the aims are to find out the customers likes, wants, and needs.

by a pocketknife i have assumed the literal meaning of a knife to fit most pockets, either fixed or folding. i've now learnt this is too simplistic when discussing the topic with enthusiasts
perhaps you could suggest how a question may be adapted to take account of the different types, i would be very grateful for any help.
