Request for knives to be made

I've also tried to drop some hints to Andy - a woodsman with a s35vn blade and nice wood over micarta handle . . . . still waiting . . . unless one of the recluses gets me first.

A convex hunter with thick baltic birch handles would sure be nice. I know a guaranteed buyer (me).

And I know of two guaranteed buyers of a certain ivory mircarta over natural can, scandi Hunter. !! If it ever comes up for sale.

Oregon you can't go wrong with any of Andy's blades. Got a hiking buddy and a machete right now and waiting on a Bushfinger. They are just exceptional blades. You'll be happy with any one you get.

This thread is a lot of fun.

The HB and machete make an excellent team, but you will love the Bushfinger when you get it. The only downfall to Andy's knives lies in deciding which one/s to carry. Now that most of the greenery is getting out of my way I usually carry the Hunter but the Bushfinger traveled many miles on my hip.

Surely not. If you are serious, shoot me their info so I make em an offer.

If only there was some way y'all could get and inside angle. Sure Andy sticks to his guns about not taking orders, if onlythere were some guy that I don't know say sets up some of Andy's work or does
some of his grinding, that would hook you up that would be a good guy to know I am just saying.

Convex hunter with Baltic birch on blue micarta?

So...what would appeal to a guy like that, in the way of bribery? ;)

One day I'd like to get a Fiddleback Scandi Nessmuk. Handled one at the last blade an it felt great in-hand. Really like the handle too - Natural Micarta with *I think* Black Micarta as a bolster. Replace the Natural Micarta with wood (maybe Olivewood or Lignum Vitae) and I'd have my new go-to woods knife.

What do y'all think about combining the handle of the hikingbuddy and the blade of the edc....

Ah chainring you are high speed and no drag in this groop

LOL! I try not to miss much in the Fiddleback forum. You snooze you lose around here! :) If I didn't have to sink most of my knife money into my own little builds these days, I'd be bending your ear about a few grail ideas.

So Dan, has your PM box been lit up yet. I too am not above giving bribes.:D What does it take?
