Hi. Not sure if this is posted in the correct location, please fix as necessary.
I have a Spyderco Southard (all black), which I would like to be reground. It's a fantastic knife, but the spine is way too thick, and it makes it so I really have to force the knife through some materials. Is there anybody who would be capable of thinning the spine of the knife so that the blade would be able to cut through materials more efficiently? I don't know exactly how thick I would like the spine to be (3-3.5 mm?), but I would just like it so that the shoulder of the hollow grind transitions more smoothly.
If anybody has recommendations I would greatly appreciate them!
Thanks.
