Request for work

I've got a question: as a registered member, am I in the wrong to post a request for a maker to perform work on a knife? do I need to upgrade beforehand?

Don't be weary when you see no posted threads in that section. Only Makers & Craftsmen can view and respond to threads in that forum. Of course you can view and post in your own thread, but not any others.

I have moved this to the right place.

The best way to handle a move is not to repost, leaving an orphaned duplicate behind.
Just click on the small triangle icon in the lower left of a post, and in the box that pops up,
ask the moderators to move your thread.

I'm sorry esav, I'm not sure what you're referring to. I was pretty sure I posted this once in the tech support/q&a; I put it there instead of maker requests since it seemed like a general forum question to me.
