Request or info and value of Kabar hollow handle knife

I had never seen one before although I readily admit that my experience with kabar is limited. Any info or value of this well worn knife would be appreciated.

just an opinion, but the blade is unlike any I have saw on a Kabar hollow handle knife. Seems alfull long and of a different blade shape. Does the mark on the handle by the guard indicate that it has been rebladed? Looks like it could be its form of attachment? My 1.4 cents.
 
I have no Idea- a neighbor gave it to me asking about it. Your guess is as good as mine... The handle is interesting to me... I did not know ka bar made a hollow handled knife before I saw this.
 
Kabar model 2000? They refer to the hollow handle as a waterproof match compartment. I think that the blade lengths were 4 to 6 ". Is the blade/handle tight? It is an interesting knife.
