Big Nessmuk, 8" blade, 2" tall, 1/4" thick, with an overall length of 13"

Now I just need to decide what handle material to put on it. My March Special is Black Micarta and my 3 finger, wharncliff kit knife is going to be cocobolo. Any suggestions for this one? I'm leaning toward the Tiger Stripe Maple.

Great design, I can't wait to see it.
I'm thinking, same design in 3/32 1095 and you have the camp/kitchen knife I've been looking for.

Nice design!
Tiger stripe maple would be my choice. That is what is going to go on my next scout.

I'm looking forward to seeing this knife when finished.

That is sweeeeeet! Oh how I love big knives....go figure because seems like all I own are small ones. How about Scorched Maple for the handle, it looks great! Oh....If that were my knife I'd get it with a forged finish.....looks great with any wood!

Yeah, I think I should have entered a oversized Nessmuk like this in the design contest instead of my other one. Oh well.

Still interested, but my knife budget is kinda short right now. Wifey and I are expecting our first child next month, so I'm being a little more conservative than usual.

Congratulations! You make me feel old, my youngest is 25
Let`s put this on the back burner for now.

Thanks. I figure once our little girl is here, my wife will be distracted enough to not notice yet another new knife.
