A remarkable man, a sensitive and understanding person, a caring and involved human being of my acquaintance (my friend) will be under-going surgery for cancer of the prostate gland in early April.

He's got a great surgeon. They spotted it early. He says he's not brooding about it.

But still...

If the Cantinistas would, please send whatever it is you send to whatever or whomever you send it for the best possible resolution to his procedure.

In a sense, he is your friend, as well. He's just that kind of guy.

Thank you.

100% smoke and prayers going up. Cancer is just one of those dark clouds that looms until you get caught in its down pour. It can be beaten with good doctors and a little bit of faith. My FIL has had the largest liver tumor (7cm) on record to be taken of with radial micro ablasion. With liver cancer, 40% of people only RESPOND to chemo. Generally, it's 8 months to a year. A death sentence. I'm proud to say that about 3 years later my FIL has just touched down in Ireland with my MIL to celebrate St. Patrick's Day in Dublin. He'll fight it all of the rest of his life, and he knows he probably won't live to see 70 (he's 62ish). Ya never know, though. He's a sweet guy with a heart of gold. He might make it to 100.
Best wishes for your friend, Kis. He's in our thoughts and he caught it early. Chances don't get much better than that:)

We'll light one tonight, when the moon rises.

People can and DO beat the big C.

Smoke from Hemet, CA.

Dr. Dean Edell said on his radio program that no man over 80 has ever been autopsied that didn't have prostate cancer cells.

Here's a link for information on it. oncology
