It seems like the Busse/Swamprat/Scrapyard Selling forum is all business, so i didn't think a more "chatty" thread would be appreciated.

But i was wondering if people ever post knife requests...
it might help some people decide to sell if they know there is a potential buyer ready and waiting. Does that ever go down?
 
You're right, all the sale forums disallow chatter. One of the Exchange forums is Wanted to Buy: Knives. That's the right place to post that sort of specific request.
 
Yeah check out the Wanted to Buy forum. It works pretty good and I have had friends get responses to what they were looking for sometimes in a matter of hours.:thumbup:
 
Yea, theres "I wanna see..." posted quite often here. Its not a specific request for yourself, but its an encompassing thing. LIke right now theres a "Whats next?" thread going where some input is given.

I was thinking of starting a new thread next week for a big chopper, new Battle Rat time! :D

That kind of stuff is good here, specific requests are for the wanted to buy section like everyone has said so far.

I'm off on a road trip to Pampa TX, anyone want some red dirt? :p
 
With a few exceptions, there are buyers ready and waiting. ;) Especially, if the blade you want to buy/sell has been out of production for a bit.

The Exchange forum is heavily moderated... for a reason. It can get out of control quickly with "chattiness" and such.

If you want to put in a "I want to buy" then Exchange>Wanted To Buy>Knives is the appropriate place to post.

If you want to trade, then Exchange>Trade>Knives and Tools is best.

If you want to sell (first buy a Gold Membership) and post a Busse/Swamp/Scrap in the Exchange>For Sale Production Knives (Individual)>Busse / Swamprat / Scrapyard Knives For Sale sub-forum.

A note on memberships: Anyone can buy or trade their blades on the Exchange. Only a Gold Member or above can sell. Any offers to Buy/Sell/Trade *must* take place in the exchange or back channel. Discussion of Buy/Sale/Trade offers are unwelcome in other forums.

Not to sound heavy handed but if you list a blade for Trade, don't buy a Gold or above, and it is discovered you *sold* it through this solicitation one would receive an infraction - potentially enough points to be banned.
