rescue rileys wilderness christmas thread

I don't mind the postage cost boys although I appreciate the consideration..I'll just send it snail mail there's only 20 or so items so if I sen'em all it'll still run me less than a c-note.. and everyone here has given me so much already in terms of friendship and knowledge just trying to give something back...It's part of the gift....Fonly the bag is yours if you want it.. email me your addy

ahh awesome man, thank you. I certainly feel kinda off now that im asking for it, but I sure do appreciate it, hard times is an understatement.

Thanks Man, means alot to me.:)

I wish I was around more, I could use one of the Moras. Especially since I was going to get a few for Christmas but had to give my money to my parents to buy food instead. (not just food, help around the house as well .. that needed clarifying)

First time since 1978 my dad has been on unemployment.

Very generous of you giving to those like that, though. If you believe in karma...

I could use the hiking pole #20, if you still have it, I used to have one for a cane but someone took it when I left it behind at a diner.

Thanks for the generous offer either way.

You're a good man Riley. I'm pretty well set, but is there anything that you need?

This is an extremely generous giveaway, but I'm not a regular, or even a intermittent poster on this forum, so I'm not eligible. I'd just like to say Merry Christmas to you, RescueRiley, you're certainly making a merry christmas for many people this year.

I have knives...too many some might say but I love old Zippos....if you wouldn't mind that is...I know just the person I could gift my grandfather's zippo to and this way I would still have one...

If you would be willing I'll take the 5) 1 rough rider large stockman
Don't have a large stockman yet.

Would you like anything for being so nice? I'm in the giving mood too!

Dear Mr. RescueRiley:

Like everyone else, I am overwhelmed by your generosity. I hope the new year brings you much happiness and success. Your W&S pal, go2ndamend.

Thank you so much for the generous offer!

I'll take the mora blade blank and the space blankets if you don't mind. I could use lot of stuff on your list but I'll leave those for other folks!

Truly thou art a man of the highest caliber!

My son already has a wrapped pressie under the tree from you :D

I could sure make use of the coat out here. My shop is a bit unheated at the moment, doncha know.

I've passed on a couple knives offline doing the same thing, might be able to get another one to a good home- I've got a sheathless guarded puukko style stick tang... if someone knows someone. I think this year especially it's really important, and what you are doing is great!

Hello All,

I struck up a friendship with this fine young man quite a while ago in the Traditional Fixed Blade & Folder forum.

He is, by far one of the nicest men you will ever have the good fortune to know!.

I do not want to take any of the wonderful offered goods here on the list, but just want to say, Thanks John for a super offer to everyone and it just goes to show how inspiring the milk of human kindness will do for all of us!.

Come on Folks,

Go out and pass it on to others. You may all be very surprised how much good it will do out there in our world, and how contagious it will become.

Many Blessings,

Anthony
