I hate to bring this thread back on topic, but here goes. I hate to quote you matteo, but I have been to school and I do understand supply and demand and I also understand that when the proverbial "sure thing" is found from a financial standpoint, then the crest of the "investment" is already long past. You have guys buying GW's by the truckload, FBM's and LE's by the multiples with the intent of reselling for profit. For you youngsters out there, listen up. In the 90's you could close your eyes pick a tech stock and quadruple your money, five years ago buy any house, paint it put in carpet and flip it and make tens of thousands or more. Is this on aversimplification, yes to a degree it is. I certainly don't know the production numbers over at Busse. But if guys are buying large numbers to satisfy the pool of potential buyers in the future, you are making a mistake. The reason 35 SHSH's or whatever are worth a fortune is because there aren't enough of them to satisfy our demand. If me and a hundred buddies of mine buy five or six of these blades for investment without knowing the limit of "Limited Edition" we are being extremely foolish. Now John's analogy to the beanie baby was waaaaay over the line, but he's also right. Buy them cause you like them, either to bash away at fallen trees or just to fondle over your favorite adult beverage, don't do it for investment because the cats out of the bag, prices will plateau if not come back to earth here on anything but the truly special, limited, hard to geat blades. I suspect the FBM will not be one of them.
