[Resolved] Something's not right? With a purchase from reapinItUP

Ok, so I took this:

All is well, send payment by check because he does not take paypal. Waited 3 days after check cash still no tracking number? So I email him...this is what I got in respond.

So I understand....things happen, just give me my money back. But I felt odd because why he did not take paypal on his sales thread? And now offer to paypal my money back using gift. He said he'll stop by bank and then send paypal by end of today. It's already 8:45pm and nothing. I email him, nothing. I saw he's log on to BF and I PM him...no respond? So What's UP Evan???

Though I would not be getting too worked up yet, I do agree there are some minor red flags here. The fact you had to reach out to him after three days of hearing nothing is poor form. I can understand taking a day to process the theft but if someone has paid me and I will not be delivering, one of my first priorities is to at least reach out to and inform the buyer. Not responding to your PM is a bit suspicious as well but I have waited for PM replies in the past and seen the other guy was active on the forums for the entire day before they finally got back to me.

He seems to have a good history here - I would give him until the morning. If you still have not heard from him then, please follow up here. Hope it works out for you.

EDIT: with the update below a bit of patience obviously goes a long way.
