Slow shipper, poor comms, doesn’t stand behind his sale.

Recent purchase, actually don’t even have the items yet due to seller sitting on shipment for days. $80 total, not world-ending but I’m glad it wasn’t any more. I have a similar recent sale in the second post below for contrast.

7/13 I paid immediately (PP F&F), he advised “Payment received. I'll get these packed and shipped out tonight” (noon his time)

He sent tracking two days later - package not at post office yet. After 4 days I asked if had been shipped, he read PM no response. I asked again next day no answer, he only responded when I pinged him in the sale thread today.

I wasn’t cool with the way the deal was going down, advised that when items arrived I’d like to return them (I would’ve eaten return ship)

His response “Return policy? Lol. I'm not a store. I live in a rural area and my local post office lags ALL THE TIME! Like I said, I can't control what they do. I don't do returns”

He appears to buy secondhand stuff from Goodwill and flip it here. His prerogative, no biggie but from what I’ve seen he’s no interest in resolving any issues that may arise. Buyer beware.

I had a transaction elsewhere last week, in contrast to the above situation. Knife sold, buyer paid, I shipped first thing next day - tracking no status update for 5 days. Buyer balked, put PP funds on hold. I checked in with him immediately and refunded right then.

Put in a support request with USPS, got status update next day - knife was Out for Delivery at buyer location. Buyer then had the knife and the money. I stayed in touch with him and offered to pay to ship knife back to me. He deferred, we were cool, he ended up paying in full.

First off I don't buy anything second hand from goodwill to flip here. These packs came from a surplus store that went out of business and I bought a whole pallet full. Second. I stated to you many times that the package was dropped off and was waiting for a scan. I CANNOT DICTATE WHAT USPS DOES. you are a real problem and bashing people does nothing. I'm surprised that you even have positive feedback you cry baby

Well usually when you sell a bunch of the same thing you need a Dealer Membership. I will tag a mod to help you out.

You were never asked to dictate what USPS does, just give an update because tracking showed item was never even dropped off. You read the PM and didn't answer until I pinged you in the sale thread a couple days later.

Your posting history shows buying stuff cheap from Goodwill / secondhand and the item showing up here for sale later on. I expect someone is going to end up with electronics that have an issue because you buy secondhand but don't or can't test them for function. Then when you give the "Return policy? Lol. I'm not a store.............I don't do returns" routine that buyer will be SOL.

That’s not true, you can make them scan it if you go to the counter. If you put it in the blue box, set it on the counter, or put it in the bulk mail slot, anything could happen. Until it’s scanned you rolled the dice not asking for a receipt at the counter.

As for your crappy efforts toward customer satisfaction, the word is out and you’re just hurting yourself. A deal isn’t complete unless both parties are satisfied with the transaction, as I’m sure you will be made aware.

The word is out?!?! I have never burned anyone EVER and him making up bullshit isn't right. Also where I live there is a night time drop box and that is what I used. This forum is full of a bunch of Karen's

Send them back when you get them. You will cover the shipping NO ME! When I receive them back I'll refund you.

A nighttime drop box is for letters. People spend hundreds of dollars here buying things, it’s worth the effort to take it in and get it scanned. If you put it in a drop box, I’ve seen it take several days to get scanned in and forwarded to regional distribution.

Your problem isn’t unique to you. We’ve seen it here before. You got your money, you dropped the package, and you thought “my work here is done”. You should’ve been all over responding to messages and communicating tracking, when you dropped it, where you dropped it, the temperature that day, what color the boathouse is at Hereford or whatever else was asked. Just my opinion. Follow up until the customer is happy and be all over communication.

There’s other determining factors besides selling multiples of the same item.

Also, give the insults a rest.

Calling members cry babies and Karens does not help the situation.

In fairness, it came with the other relics on the pallet and had sticky stuff on it from the original owner.
 
Relics_and_rags_co Relics_and_rags_co contacted me a bit ago. We're bringing this thing in for a landing and resolving the beef on the transaction.

I'm keeping the items once they arrive, still inbound at the moment.
