Resolved! : Trouble with Himalayan Imports

I've been having some unusual delays, has anybody else experienced this when ordering from their site?

Updated: I got off the phone with Mrs Yangdu, who was very kind and professional, and managed to work out that it was the fault of USPS delays. I'm very impressed with the service and am looking forward to the extra gift she provided.

10/10 service would recommend

Absolutely not. Very abnormal. Yangdu is a one woman show and very busy keeping everyone happy but she's generally right on top of things she says she'll do.
I don't know where you are or how far from Reno but I'd call and ask for a tracking number.
I know she's been helping with her fathers medical issues but she's been sending stuff out and taking care of business.

Be patient and it will be worth the wait.
 
In the future it might be a nice gesture to take up issues and concerns with the source of your alleged issues or concerns, real or imagined.

Feel free to visit the HI forum area. That would have been a much better place so distributing your concern.

I never look here in the general area or any other area except HI. I do look at the sales forum from time to time but not often.
 
I can't help but notice that the original content posted by the author has been changed.

This is not intended as a slight towards HI, quite the opposite. I've never heard any negative towards Yangdu, but I think it might be productive for others to read what the original complaint was. This would show that although situations might not always be perfect, a stellar service provider always makes it right.

Just my thoughts, but if I want a Khukuri, there's no other vendor I'd even consider.

Really sucks to have people go off before they give anyone a chance to help. Of course I was not able to read the real 1st post so I don't know what was said. :rolleyes:

HI -YANGDU - is the best at customer care. That's the real bottom line.

Actually I was able to just go in and do that myself. Just changed it to No More Trouble with Himalayan Imports.
Bonzai did amend his first post mentioning that the issue was handled. Gold star for that.
 
So the mod changes the title of this thread ? So not cool if the op didn’t ask that to happen even if he changed the text in the first post to a fixed problem. The op did have a problem and it’s only fair to let people know he did. Changing the title cause it makes the provider look better is so out of line.
 
The op did in fact wish to fix the title. The issue was not with HI at all. USPS apparently dropped the ball.
The op is now completely happy and remorseful for any grief he caused HI.
I put the title back in it's original form since that seems to really upset some.
Hoping that folks will read at least the ops first post and see that it wasn't an HI issue at all. Shipped as promised on the day it was promised.
No fault of HI in any way.
Now if we can just make you happy again it will be a fine day.

The OP, a 3 post new member, hasn't been back since editing the original post to resolving it to a USPS issue and not an HI issue.
Now, if the OP felt it was all good to edit their post and give a 10/10 for service, then what's the problem?

I am going to restore the post edit by Bawanna Bawanna with a slight tweak because the original post no longer fits the situation with new information.
