Respiration

It's impractical for me to install extraction in my workshop, so i've decided i need to get some sort of respiration mask.

what do you guyts use?

Just got a Trend AirShield Pro. Filtered air hat, full face shield. Works great, I have a beard and typical facemasks do not work for me due to the beard.

Does this thing make any noise? Is there a belt that the rest of the unit goes on like the 3M? Sure is a good price! Thanks!

Yes it does have the motor / blower unit on top of your head. I believe the noise is 70Db. Not too bad. No belt pack, all is self contained 'cept the charger.

Particulate matter only. They are very clear no vapors, fumes, gasses, or low O2 environments. Faceshield is a real plus for me as well. Kinda cool, if the filters get too used up, or if your battery gets low, it will sound an alarm to alert you that the hat is not working as it should.

I use a 3M 7500 half mask with #2091 filters for particulate, and they also make particulate and vapor cartridges too.
